Artist Spotlight: @anyapaintsil is an artist whose exhibitions I will always make an effort to see.

Her combination of rug-making, embroidery and appliqué with Afro hairstyling techniques results in a visual language that is entirely her own. Rooted in Fante traditions and shaped by her upbringing in North Wales, she translates traditions of carving and mask-making into soft, tactile portraits and storytelling.
