International Volunteer Day was created in collaboration with the United Nations’ to celebrate the establishment of International Volunteer Day, celebrated annually on December 5th. Originally published by the World Federation of United Nations Associations in New York, the two heads and large, outstretched arms symbolise connection and support. This initiative continues to inspire global volunteerism, encouraging individuals and governments alike to take action.
